Your first visit will include a thorough examination of your oral structures. We will provide a diagnosis of your current oral health and then consult with you about the most suitable treatment for any dental problems you may currently have. If the treatment plan you need involves a root canal, then we will set up another appointment for the treatment.
If you are already in serious pain, in general we will do our utmost best to see you on the same day that you get in contact with our office. We will provide the best treatment we can to relieve you of the pain as quickly as possible, and then we can schedule the necessary follow-up appointments to treat the problems completely.
At the time of the first consultation, you can help the whole visit go more smoothly if you provide us with a complete list of the medications you’re currently taking. You should also bring your current insurance card if you have dental insurance. If you don’t have an insurance card, we will ask for your subscriber number, group number, and insurance carrier phone number. Please have this information ready so that we can help you process your insurance claim.
Important Reminder:
Every patient who is under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian during their first visit. If the child is accompanied by a person other than the parent or legal guardian, this person must provide a consent form signed by the parent or legal guardian. This consent form must be brought to our office at the time of the dental appointment.
